Customer Review: I love this mat!

Over a year ago I bought this mat and I absolutely love it! There are some things that you buy and you end up using them over and over again causing the cost per use to be minuscule in the end. For me, this is one of those items. It provides a great (mostly) non-stick surface for all of your pastry and bread baking needs.
We bake all of our own bread and we love to eat sandwiches so we make about two loaves of bread every three days. My wife and I pull out this pastry mat every time we bake. It still looks as good as the day we bought it and works just as well too. We use it to make cinnamon rolls, pie crusts, you name it. It is the perfect size for cinnamon rolls. You simply roll out the dough to the same size of the mat and then you get 12 perfectly sized cinnamon rolls that are the same size as those sold at the retailer in your local mall.
It does arrive folded in half inside the shipping box. As a result there was a crease in the baking mat for the first 2 weeks. However, that crease has long since disappeared. The only reason I remembered the crease was because I read some of the reviews below. Don't worry it will soon disappear.
For storage we roll up our rolling pin in the mat so it takes almost no space at all. I have never cooked on it so can not speak to it's cooking properties. I have other silicon mats for those duties.
